Studio Etiquette: Please show up no more than 15 minutes early. If you are running late, please let me know. Running behind more than 20 minutes will result in a reschedule (see Deposits & Scheduling).
Please make sure to arrive with good personal hygiene as you will be in close proximity to your Artist... and your Artist is focusing on providing you an excellent service!
Health & Hygiene: Clients must not be pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking antibiotics. Active skin issues (rashes, acne, psoriasis) cannot be tattooed over.
Age Restrictions: I only tattoo persons above 18 years of age. Please bring government issued photo ID to your appointment.
Payment Options: Cash or e-transfer are the only accepted forms of payment.
Deposits & Scheduling: A non-refundable/non-transferrable deposit (usually $50–$100) is required to secure an appointment. If you need to reschedule, please give 24+ hours notice. I can reschedule your appointment 1 time. A 2nd reschedule will result in a lost deposit. A new deposit will be required to rebook.
If you need to cancel, please give 7+ days notice . Doing so will convert your deposit into a gift card (no expiration) . Failure to do so will result in a lost deposit. A new deposit will be required to re-book.
Deposits are valid for three (3) years.
If circumstances outside of the shop's control occur that prevents the client from having services rendered (late, lack of childcare or where children are brought to appointment, poor client hygiene, etc.) or where designs have been completed based on the client's specifications and full design change is then requested; THE DEPOSIT WILL BE RETAINED and a new deposit will be required to re-book.
Design Changes: Major design change can result in needing to postpone your appointment and the original deposit may be forfeited. Major changes may be considered a new project and a new deposit will be required. This is as a result of not enough time being booked off for your originally chosen date due to design change. And design work already being done by your artist which goes unused. Please be sure of the design details you are looking for so I can work with you to create what you envision.
Gift Cards: Gift cards must be physically presented at the appointment to be valid, and hold no cash value. Gift cards do not replace the deposit. A deposit is still required to book an appointment. If the total gift card amount is the total amount of the service, the deposit will be reimbursed. This is the only time a deposit will be reimbursed (because it goes above the total cost of the tattoo).
Promotions: Promotions posted for a specific date or timeframe are only valid within those conditions. Promo pricing for these events cannot be rolled over to another appointment should you become unable to attend. Typical deposit rules apply.
Touch Ups: I offer 1 free touch up within 1 year from the date of your tattoo. This does not cover significant damage (sun burn on fresh tattoo, new injury on fresh tattoo, etc.) . Touch up work is provided to the areas of tattoo applied at your initial appointment and does not include or apply to tattoos done outside of the studio, work done by a different artist, changes to original design, or where more time is needed to complete the tattoo. Touch up work is provided to ensure you have the best possible healed outcome where healing inconsistencies have occurred. Not all Tattoos require a Touch-Up.
The client is responsible for booking their touch-up in a timely manner (minimum 3 weeks from the tattoo appointment)
Studio Privacy/Nudity: I work in a small studio of four tables in an open room. While in the space, it is a reasonable expectation that one may encounter visible nudity or be required to exist in states of nudity as a necessary part of accessing certain tattoo placements. I will never request a client to remove any more clothing than what is absolutely necessary for tattooing.

Our studio does not condone or tolerate any behaviour that can be considered harmful or abusive.
This includes:
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY SERVICE.
E.G. based on no show, alcohol/drug consumption, inappropriate behavior, cancellation circumstance, lack of personal hygiene or any individual circumstance where the staff feels there is risk to client(s) and/or staff. WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY RELATING TO THREATS, VIOLENCE OR ABUSE.
